No. Baza Academy is not a for Profit Corporation based in the United States of America.

Baza Academy is a part of Bazabaza Education, a Non-Profit Organization under Section 501(c )(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Code. The surplus generated by Baza Academy is invested in the Mission of Bazabaza Education, which is to support education of poor children in Africa and provide support to the orphans.

Baza Academy performs a thorough background check of all its team members to ensure the safety of our students. In addition to that, Baza Academy has a feedback process that enables the students to report any inappropriate incident with a teacher or tutor, and action is taken immediate to investigate and correct the situation. The safety of our students is of paramount importance for Baza Academy.

Yes. Generally, a teacher or tutor is matched to a student at the time a student submits a class schedule request. The matching is based on teacher or tutor available, geographic location and compatibility. A student may request a specific teacher or tutor. If the preferred teacher or tutor is not available, this will be communicated to the student and another choice will be agreed with the student.

Baza Academy offer a satisfaction guarantee. At the end of every session, a student will receive a class review survey. The student will be asked to rate the session and offer any additional comments to help us improve our performance. The student will have an opportunity to report any incident at this moment. The review survey is sent directly to Baza Academy and will not be seen by the teacher or tutor. If the student is not satisfied with the performance of the teacher, Baza Academy will investigate and upon conclusion of the investigation, a refund will be process to the student as the case may be.

Yes. Baza Academy has written policies as well as Privacy Policy and Terms of Use for our website. Every user is required to read them and comply with them.

Baza Academy is headquarted in the United States of America (USA) but we have teachers and tutors located in many countries around the world to provide localized and contextualized approach to our students. Every student is unique and we want to provide a unique approach to our service delivery. However, students may request a teacher or tutor based in any location around the world. The fee will not changed based on the location of the teacher or tutor.

Yes. Baza Academy accepts gifts and donations from the public to help advance our mission and spread learning to children around the world.
